The University of Bilad Al-Rafidain celebrates the National Honorable Day with a wide green campaignCoinciding with the Iraqi  afforestation day in approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on March 12 of each year, and in line with the initiative of Prime Minister Eng. Mohamed Shi'a Al -Sudani to grow five million trees and palm trees.

The campaign witnessed the participation of the university president, in addition to the teaching, administrative and service staff, in addition to the university students, in the framework of a collective effort aimed at strengthening green spaces on the campus. The events included wide afforestation campaigns, educational stickers, and workshops that dealt with the importance of afforestation and environmental sustainability.

The campaign was based on a set of slogans supporting the idea, most notably:

"Whoever plants a tree ... planting hope on the ground."

"Plant and do not cut."

"The tree is a permanent tender ... we plant it for our future."

"Together, let us plant the gardens of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain 

"Plant beautifully, even if it is not in its place, so the beautiful is not lost wherever it is planted."

The university affirms its continuous commitment to encouraging environmental initiatives, believing in the role of afforestation in improving climate and spreading a culture of sustainability between students and the academic community

As part of a series of seminars aimed at strengthening the role of women in society, the Women's Affairs Division at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain  organized today, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, an educational symposium under the generous sponsorship of the President of the University, and in cooperation with the College of Dentistry.

"The role of women working in developing the talents and hobbies of the child it was presented by Professor Enas Shehab Ahmed, in the halls of the College of Dentistry, where the symposium dealt with the role of women in the family and their impact on developing the capabilities of children through modern education methods, taking into account the age of the child and following his behavior within the family.

Symposium goals:

✔ Emphasizing the role of women working in developing talents and creative capabilities for children.

✔ Highlight the importance of the accurate follow -up of the child's behavior and its impact on his mental maturity.

✔ Emphasizing the need for early preparedness to direct children towards a conscious and awareness of life changes.

This symposium comes within the framework of enhancing societal awareness about the importance of modern education and its role in preparing future generations according to sound foundations, as family participation and institutional reform constitute a basic pillar of the advancement of society.

We hope that these efforts will be brought in creating an educated and conscious generation, capable of keeping pace with the challenges of the future.

Rafidain Nursing students launch an awareness campaign on the dangers of  tattoos.

Believing in the importance of volunteer work and enhancing the spirit of social responsibility among students, the college of Nursing at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain  organized an awareness campaign on the health risks of tattoos and Tatto, with the participation of students of the third stage and the supervision of Dr. Nadia Abdel Latif.

The campaign aims to spread health awareness about the negative effects of tattoos, which may lead to skin infections, allergic reactions, and the transmission of serious viral infection such as viral hepatitis and HIV. The event witnessed a great interaction from students and the public, as the participants provided scientific explanations and medical advice on these risks, stressing the importance of safe alternatives to beauty.

This initiative comes within a series of events organized by the college, in confirmation of the role of the effective students in volunteer work, and to consolidate the principle of community service and promote healthy culture between its members.
