Establishment

The Department of Dental Technology was established at the University of Bilad Alrafdain in 2017. It aims to graduate specialized technical personnel to work in hospitals and various health centers, and in laboratories that produce materials for the dental industry.

Message

One of the main tasks of the department is to prepare highly trained cadres in the field of dental technology specialization, where the graduate is distinguished by a high level of knowledge and creativity in replacing missing parts of the face and jaws and dealing with medical rehabilitation devices for the mouth and teeth.

Objectives

The main goal is to train, educate and prepare the student theoretically and practically to graduate as a dental industry technician who possesses distinguished and advanced technical skills as well as knowledge of laboratory materials and devices and how to deal with them.

The department aims to graduate technical cadres who work in dental industry laboratories and are able to complete all steps in the manufacture of fixed and removable dental orthodontic alternatives and facial and jaw prostheses.
